Hemoglobin test is continuously motivating the beneficiaries and health camps are being organized in association with the Health Department and adolescent girls, pregnant women and lactating women of all villages are being screened for anaemia. 215 adolescent girls who have been tested for hemoglobin. Among them 1 teenage girl with hemoglobin of 4gm/dl was admitted to district hospital. She was saved by blood transfusion and iron folic acid syrup was administered.

Along with this, the project team encouraged people to eat protein, greens and vegetables etc. The above-mentioned teenage girl is healthy in today’s scenario. In order to increase the blood volume, they are advised to take iron folic acid syrup regularly along with a nutritious diet.

A healthy meal with necessary nutrients is promoted in Anganwadi centers. The project team is working towards spreading awareness about nutritious food. In Suposhan Chaupal, a variety of green vegetables and fruits and vegetables that contain protein and vitamins are included and information about their benefits is provided.
