Job Position: Fundraising Manager (West Coast)

Location: SFO – Bay Area, CA

Fundraising Manager (West Coast) Role & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that CRY America meets its Fundraising objectives of revenue generation, higher
    profitability and effective donor relations in CA & WA through execution of relevant
    Fundraising plans/ budgets to mobilize resources from HNI’s and institutions.
  • Ensure successful HNI CRY Galas in SFO-Bay Area, San Diego & Seattle towards increased
    brand visibility, fundraising and acquisition of high net worth donors.
  • Effective donor servicing/ p’ship building with HNIs and institutions towards increased
    retention and loyalty through personalized mailings, telecalling & in-person meetings.
  • Create and manage grant proposals, event sponsorships and reports to high net worth
    individual donors, family foundations, foundations and corporates for SFO-Bay Area, San
    Diego, LA, OC & Seattle.
  • Explore and establish channels to increase CRY America’s reach and resources from
    Institutions [Corporates, Foundations & Family Foundations] in the West Coast.
  • Establish and manage relevant partnerships with the media [TV, Print, Radio] in key cities of
    CA for the CRY Gala’s & key Volunteer Events.
  • Support the San Diego, OC, LA, Bay Area Volunteer Chapters to scale up their local events
    through media outreach and event sponsorships, especially the CRY Walk, CRY Holi,
    CRYket & CRY Dandia events.
  • Attend & represent CRY America at relevant high profile business and community events,
    networks & forums to build brand visibility for CRY America and acquire new donors.

Qualifications & Skill Set Preferred:

  • Masters degree (preferably business administration or marketing)
  • Relevant experience (3 to 5 years) in non profit fundraising or corporate sales & marketing
    or event management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Enjoys working with large numbers of high net worth individuals (HNIs) and businesses
  • Flexible with working on weekends/ evenings and frequent travel to Bay Area, SFO, LA, OC,
    San Diego and Seattle (vehicle owner, drive long distances, fly) as needed
  • Has an interest in the cause of underprivileged children, especially in India.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $60,000 to $72,000 per annum, based on qualifications & experience.
  • Health insurance benefit: up to a max $6,000 per year.
  • Vacation: 15 days PTO & 5 days sick leave for 12 months worked.
