Abhay Paranjape is a Silicon Valley-based stand-up comedian and technologist working on virtual reality hardware at a MAANG organization. When he’s not building immersive experiences in tech, he’s crafting immersive experiences on stage, using humor to explore the NRI experience — navigating life, work, and family in the U.S.
Abhay has performed sold-out shows across the San Francisco Bay Area in Hindi, English, and Marathi, connecting with diverse audiences through sharp observations and relatable storytelling. He recently took his act to Mumbai and Pune, bringing his perspective on the immigrant journey back to India.
With a unique blend of technology and comedy, Abhay bridges worlds—both real and virtual—one laugh at a time.

Memories From Gala 2024
CRY Bay Area Gala was held on April 28 at Villa Ragusa with Celebrity Arjun Rampal who endorsed CRY’s work and led the pledge session. The event was attended by 110 guests. Project Partner Dr. Rolee Singh shared her project SSRF’s impact & CRY CEO, Puja Marwaha shared CRY America’s 20-year achievements. Our beloved donor Late Ketan Duvedi’s long standing support to CRY’s children was honored at this event. We especially thank our CRY BA Gala Committee, and all our generous donors, sponsors, volunteers, media & staff for this awesome event & making children’s dreams come true! Thank You.

With the support of over 35,334 donors and over 2,000 volunteers, CRY America has impacted the lives of 796,919 children living across 5,027 villages and slums through support to 90 Projects in India and USA.
