Austin’s first CRY Gala on April 26 held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Round Rock and we owe a heartfelt thank you to Prasanna, Srirangam, Sudha, Keerthi, Harika, Pragya, and Sheetal for their dedication to make the event a success. The evening included a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, dinner, donor appreciation, pledge session, bollywood music and a dance performance by the volunteers. Legendary Bollywood Celebrity Shabana Azmi appealed to the guests to support CRY America that works with projects to make transformative changes in the lives of children. Project Partner Lalitamma spoke about her Project PORD’s impact in Telangana. CRY America President, Shefali Sunderlal shared how CRY supported Projects are irreversibly transforming the lives of underprivileged children.
